Dear Expectant Mother,

We can’t imagine how you’re feeling, but please know we are here to support you endlessly should you choose us to raise your child. Nothing quite captures the admiration and respect we have for you. Adoption is an incredible exchange of trust, and we will always hold this recognition in our hearts. We have so much love to give to your child and want nothing more than to help them become the best version of themselves. Your child will be raised in a respectful home with lots of love, laughter, and goofy times. We plan to raise them with values of equality, respect, kindness, and unconditional love. They will be supported and encouraged to go after their dreams and to never give up. We would love nothing more than to add to our family. We can’t wait to teach your child how to ride a bike, read, play sports, or do whatever it is they love. We also can't wait to travel for family vacations and build memories. Your child will never go without, and they will always know they are loved, beginning on day one.

We would like to thank you for reading what we have to share. We wish you nothing but the best on your journey, and we would love to build a relationship with you should you choose us. We promise your child will always know you and just how brave and strong you are.

With love,

Jenny & Stacy

Who We Are

Our love story began in 2008 when we met online. After dating for awhile and having many conversations about what we wanted out of life, we knew that we wanted to be together forever. We had our commitment ceremony in 2008 with a party surrounded by our closest family and friends. Then, in 2018 we were legally wed. We pride ourselves in respecting one another along with helping each other be the best versions of ourselves.

For as long as we can remember, we both wanted to start a family. Then, in November of 2021, that dream became a reality when we welcomed Wyatt into our lives. We feel very lucky to have been chosen by Wyatt's birth parents and continue to have a strong relationship with them via an open adoption. As a family, we love to be outside, take walks with our dogs, and ride bikes. We are fortunate to have one another and are excited at the prospect of growing our family.

Adoption Diary

What Led Us to Adoption

It’s so interesting the path that people in life take and what leads them to adoption. When we first started on our own adoption path, we never realized the amount of love and gratitude we would develop for so many of the expectant moms out there. To see the amount of strength and love it takes for a parent to give their child the best possible life when it ultimately means that child may not be in their life on a daily basis, is one of the most selfless acts a parent can do. We say it a lot but that recognition is one that we hope to convey to any child we are lucky enough to raise.
Learning that neither of us could biologically have children was a let down, but it never deterred us from still wanting to start a family together. Many people often wonder what their purpose in life is, and we both fully believe that our purpose is to raise a child with kindness, love and respect. To give them a life with endless opportunity and support. We tell Wyatt all of the time where he comes from and that he is so lucky to have so many people in his life who love him. Wyatt has an older brother (who is being raised by his birth parents), and we constantly share pictures of him with Wyatt. To see the resemblance these two share is so much fun to witness. Speaking of Wyatt, he will make an amazing big brother. He is very loving and would have an endless amount of love to give to a little brother or sister. He will love to show them the ropes, so to speak! The both of us have discussed many times the ways in which we feel it would be beneficial for Wyatt and this potential new baby to grow up having a sibling they can rely on.  Not to mention, these two could potentially grow up and be able to share in their adoption experiences together. We understand that children who are adopted will eventually question where they come from and why they were given up for adoption and it would be wonderful to have a sibling to go through life with being able to fully support one another in that capacity.

A Day in the Life of Us

Typically we can be found doing almost anything on the weekends.  Before Wyatt, we both loved exploring new places and travelling to new cities. We love an impromptu road trip to take pictures, explore parks, or just spend time with family. Now that we have Wyatt, we enjoy trips to the zoo, water parks, Jenny’s Dad’s swimming pool, or getting together with family who have younger children and letting them play together. One of the best things we’ve enjoyed in our current neighborhood are our new friends who recently adopted a little boy and watching both him and Wyatt play together. Hopefully that will be a friendship that will last a lifetime. Speaking of our neighborhood, we have the friendliest neighbors. Most nights when we are out walking, we always run into someone and enjoy talking to them and catching up. There are a lot of younger children that live near us and it’s a great place for walks and bike rides.
