We were so blessed to adopt our daughter Helena. Helena is our loving, outgoing, and courageous 3 year old who we adopted at birth in Louisiana. She loves her stuffed bunnies, coloring, swimming and going to the playground. Helena is learning her letters and how to spell her name. She is a joyful child who is quick to laugh and very affectionate with her friends and family. She loves babies and is going to be a great big sister!
We had a special pizza date night this weekend to celebrate Helena’s first week of Fall activities. Helena loves pizza and was even more excited for the ice cream that followed!
Boy was the summer busy! We had quite a few things to celebrate with family and friends. We spent most of our weekends traveling to weddings, birthday parties, and family gatherings. Our last week of the summer, we spent at Brian’s family’s lake house. We swam, took boat rides, hiked, and made many delicious dinners together! Brian taught Helena some new swimming skills. She love the water! Katharine and Helena painted stepping stones for forest trail behind the house. Family time is the best!
