First and foremost, my husband and I truly admire and respect your decision to consider adoption for your baby. We can only imagine how difficult this choice is for a future parent and are honored that you may consider us to be part of your baby’s life.

We have a beautiful, sweet, and loving four-year-old daughter who dreams everyday of being a big sister and sharing her passion for all of life’s daily blessings.

Who We Are

Our Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time a young woman named Marissa attended a party at her school when a charming young man named Adam approached her and asked for a dance. The magic sparked as they danced the night away. They spent the next few months sharing their dreams, experiences, and thoughts on just about every topic you could imagine. After school was over, the young man, Adam took the young woman, Marissa to their favorite place, the beach where he got down in the sand and asked for her hand in marriage. Two years later, they were married in their safe haven, the beach and have been in love for the past fifteen years. “We were simply meant to be.”- Nightmare Before Christmas

Four years ago, they gave birth to a beautiful daughter (name is anonymous for privacy purposes) who grew up to love all animals, dance, sing and to make friends wherever she went. This loving family also has a small dog who they all adore who loves to play and snuggle. Marissa, Adam, and their daughter would love to complete their family through adoption of a precious new baby to share their love, joy and happiness with each day forward. Adoption Diary

Turkey Art

Where is that turkey? I asked my daughter. She had to disguise him so he would not be eaten for Thanksgiving. Since she was an astronaut this year for Halloween, she decided to dress him up as an astronaut as well. This costume was so good, he made it through Thanksgiving without being eaten, my daughter was so happy!
We also took a trip to an art studio with her Daisy Troop. They followed a step-by-step painting of a beautifully colored turkey. They completed each step together and loved making the feather all different colors. Then they enjoyed playing with shaving cream all over the table for some added fun! This was a great Thanksgiving art experience for my daughter.

A Day of Art!

It was a day of art; our daughter was filled with joy as she enjoyed the activities in the children’s art studio. We went with our good family friends who also enjoyed the art activities. The children enjoyed painting a canvas of a painting of their choice and making colored slime. Our daughter selected a rainbow llama and replicated it beautifully. Then she made bright yellow slime like the sun and made many creations with it. Afterwards, we all filled up on chicken nuggets and ice cream at an old-fashioned diner to end a great day of art.
