Thank you for taking a few moments to get to know us. We hope that here you will find a connection with us, and come to see us as a worthy family for your baby. We are truly grateful for every opportunity to share our story with you.
We are an interracial couple from suburban Ohio and rural WV, living in Westchester NY. We have experienced a lot in our lives, separately and together, and our journeys have led us to this moment when we are putting ourselves out there in the hopes that a mother – maybe you – will see our potential as the adoptive family for their baby. We have both longed to start a family for a long time, and we are excited that the time is finally right to share our amazing lives with a child.
We are an adventurous, playful, loving couple who are committed to our families, to each other, and to our growth individually and together. We live in our forever home which sits on 3 acres of fields and woods, and we are excited to welcome a baby into our country life with all the amenities of the suburbs. We both have long-term, fulfilling jobs that guarantee this child will have a stable upbringing with all of the childcare and medical attention they could hope for.
We are both big believers in formal education and in exposing children to as much of the world as we can. Luke has been a lifelong learner and Si teaches young adults on a daily basis. Whether it be traveling, reading, or walking in the woods, we can’t wait to guide our child through the adventures and joy of discovery.
While there is a lot we are looking forward to learning – about you, about our child, about parenting in general – there are a few things we know for sure:
This child will always be loved by us, by our families and our friends
They will never want for anything
They will grow up with the values that we got from our respective families – kindness, love, curiosity, spirituality, gratitude, commitment to family, ambition and passion
