We found each other through an online dating site in 2010 and we have been inseparable ever since. We have built a fun and wacky life together with travel, books, nerdy TV shows and lots of love. We were married in 2017.
We love being outdoors and recently started mountain biking together, so it is our new thing. We also love getting out on the trails and doing some hiking, but sometimes it's nice to just play catch in the lawn. Our family is also a huge part of our life, so spending time with them is very important and we do a lot of it.
Most evenings you can find us cooking dinner together, binging Netflix, and cuddling with the dogs on the couch. One of our favorite traditions is checking out all the library book sales or used book stores in our area throughout the year – so many books!
We both work from home. Roberto a photographer, has his studio in the old barn that has been converted. Nicole is a small farmer who farms eggs and maple syrup all on our property. We just added honey bees to the farm.
We are both college educated, creative, adventurous and absolutely dedicated to our family. We are really excited to be adopting and are so happy that you found us, keep reading to learn more!
We absolutely love our home. We live on a beautiful farm property that has everything two adventurous people could want including a pond for fishing and access to woods for walking our dogs. Our home is quiet and peaceful but also a great place to host our huge family for holidays. The kitchen and library are great for hanging out with friends and family, or just reading a book by the fire. We’ve got a big comfy couch that somehow holds all three dogs plus the two of us for movie nights.
It's time to fill our home with the sounds of a child and fill the back yard with toys. Our neighborhood has so many parks to be explored, including a very large state park. Even though our property is in the country, all our schools are within 3 minutes of our house. We were very lucky to find this place. Full of warmth and love, our home will be an endless place of safety and fun.
My wife Nicole is a lot of personality in a small package and is one of the kindest, most genuine people I know. She is also a lot of fun! She can break into a fit of giggles at the most random moments. She runs our farm but also has a masters degree in Library Science – so she’s happy out in nature or curled up with a good book.
She comes from a BIG family – there’s a lot of them and they’re fun, loud, and amazing (did I mention loud?) They instilled in Nicole a deep dedication to family and loved ones.
She is a supportive and loving companion and will be a truly wonderful mom.
Roberto is a fun and very kind person. He has a special connection with adoption, since he himself is adopted. He is very excited to be an adoptee adopting! He comes from a small, but very devoted family.
When I met him he was quiet and content to live indoors, but he shared my love for books and adventure. Over the years he has adapted to being with me and now he is in love with my big, crazy family. He now enjoys the outdoors and is sometimes vegetarian. Roberto’s true passion in life is photography. Several of his photos have been accepted into galleries around the country.
Roberto is adventurous and open minded to all people and situations. Never have I seen him waver in his support and dedication to our family. I know that he is looking forward to being a dad and is excited to read all the kids books in the world to our child.
