Hi Momma! We have so much love to give, and we are aching to fill our home with cries, laughter, and poopy diapers!

Dear Momma,

Trying to find the words to thank you for your selflessness is a challenge, but we want you to know your impact is profound. I’m Maddie, a Social Worker, I specialize in advocating for the vulnerable, including children, disabled individuals, and the elderly. My husband, Matt, works at Murray High School, where he has held many rolls, including leading the early childhood education program for over 12 years. Our journey has seen its share of heartache with six miscarriages, and a ruptured ectopic that resulted in emergency surgery and finding myself sterile at 30 years old.

Our hearts long for the pitter-patter of tiny feet in our home, ready to embrace a little one with open arms. Adoption has woven its beauty into our lives through Matt’s little sister and my childhood best friend. In our home, we live by the mantra: "There's no such thing as too much love." Eager to embody this through adoption, we're excited about filling our home with the joyful sounds of laughter, cries, and even poopy diapers!

To the wonderful Momma contemplating messaging us, your heart is not just wanted; it's cherished. If you ever want to talk, our hearts are open, ready for a conversation filled with warmth, understanding, and hope.

With heartfelt love, Matt + Maddie

Who We Are

We met in 2019 on New Year's Day. Our best friends had been dating, and they finally decided to set us up! We got engaged the day after Christmas that same year, and we got married in March of 2020.

When the government started shutting down weddings due to COVID-19, our wedding was canceled. BUT, if there is anything to know about us, it's that we are resilient, and together we have fought for our family, and we continue to do so!

Within 48 hours of being notified of the government canceling our wedding, our amazing family, friends, and support system put together a last-minute shot-gun wedding, and Matt and I got married in front of a small group of people.

We started trying to conceive in late 2020, dealing with my PCOS and facing a few miscarriages along the way. In 2022, we unexpectedly suffered from an ectopic pregnancy and emergency surgery, which cost me my left fallopian tube and almost my life. More invasive and painful tests revealed a tubal disease disorder, and at just 30, I had to say goodbye to my other tube and was medically sterilized. It left me questioning a lot - felt like I let myself and Matt down. We jumped into IVF with hope, but our first try left us with empty arms again. I then found out that I can not medically be cleared to carry at this time, and we ended our fertility journey with 6 lost babies.

Through some soul-searching and lots of prayers, we found comfort in the belief that our time to be parents will come. It's been a bumpy ride, but we're holding onto the hope that one day, we'll welcome a little one into our lives.

We are hoping that is where YOU come in! Adoption was never an if, but a when, and that is NOW! Please feel free to reach out to us, we would love to talk to you!

Adoption Diary

Adoption Education Weekend!

We had such an amazing time spending our weekend with Utah Adoption Specialists! They had amazing classes about OPEN adoption, bi-racial adoptions, and how to make connections and lasting friendships with expectant mothers. It really solidified that a semi-open or open adoption is the best way for us! We want that natural mom to feel like she, and the father, and still involved in the child’s identity, culture, and family. There is never too much LOVE!

Date Night With Our Nieces!

One of our favorite things is going on date nights with our nieces! Last week we took them to see Wonka, and got frozen yogurt after! I filled up on popcorn during the movie, but we couldn’t say no to the girls! We LOVE being the fun aunt and uncle!

The girls are needing a little more 1:1 time since they just welcomed a little sister in December. We love taking them out and giving Mom + Dad a break for a few hours. It also helps they only live 5 minutes away!

Thank You for Visiting Our Adoption Profile

We want to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child.

We truly appreciate your kindness and strength and look forward to hearing from you.
