Josh & Audrey

To Someone Special,

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We are in the military, but please don't let that scare you away. We do not believe in yelling demands in our household, but talk out our feelings and keep a calm demeanor. Yes, we do move around the globe, but not as often as you may imagine. We have been stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas since 2014 and in seven years we plan to retire in North Carolina on a five acre plot of land.
Audrey got out of the military after 10 years and work remotely from home. She is more of a free, artistic spirit while her husband is more athletic. You can catch both of them on the lake fishing, at the beach relaxing, going for a hike with their four dogs or working out at the gym. Individually Audrey enjoys reading a good book, playing piano, or letting out her creative side by dancing, singing in the shower, crafts, drawing, and painting. During this time, Josh conducts in video games, wood working, and exercising his mechanic skills (he's building a 4-wheeler). They are a wonderful family that would love to grow through adoption.

Who We Are

Josh and Audrey met in Germany while stationed in Schweinfurt. They became two peas in a pod. They eventually realized their families lived two hours away from each other. Josh and Audrey married a year after dating and came back to the states to be stationed in Ft. Hood, TX since 2014. Josh and Audrey have traveled the globe together and partook in learning about different cultures. They still keep to the family traditions of dinner time at the table, football season cookouts, decorating for the holidays, and Christmas Eve church service at Grace Christian Church.
They do not have any children, but 4 dogs that love children.

Moving Possibility

Great news! Josh is submitting a request to be an instructor at Ft. Lee in Virginia. I’m from Richmond, VA and Josh is from Roanoke Rapids, NC. We will finally be living closer to both our families, smack dab in the middle. We’re house hunting and making preparations to fix our house up to put on the market. This is so exciting.

Thanksgiving 2022

This Thanksgiving was so exciting! My mother-in-law flew from NC to TX to spend the week with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together. My mother-in-law and I shopped until we dropped, while Josh carried our bags. Black Friday shopping was a success. We ended our early morning with massive discounted bags of dog kibble, two Petco bags full of new toys, and 4 excited pups. A day prior to her departure flight I surprised them with a schedule of dual tattoos. We lots Josh’s grandfather, Lin, this year and it has taken a toll on the whole family. We all are still healing. I designed a tattoo in his memory and made sure to find an artist working Thankgiving weekend. My M-I-L was thankful and burst out crying, while my husbands eyes watered a bit. I knew this was the greatest Christmas gift idea.
It was sad to drop my M-I-L off at the airport. We cried a bit and embraced each other until it was time for her to leave.
