About Us
Our Story
Sara and Dan are each other's missing puzzle piece - they balance each other. While they currently do not have children, they do have an adorable dog named Pippa. Dan rescued her from a local shelter and has remained an endless energy source in our lives. We can't wait to love and cuddle another addition to the family. Pippa helped us set up the nursery and still checks in every day to make sure everything is okay! All three of us are ready to welcome a new member of the family.
Our Home
We live in a spacious suburban home community located in Virginia Beach. We are fortunate enough to live near the beach and frequent the beach as much as possible. We live in a friendly neighborhood, meaning that on any given day, you can hear children playing in their yards or see bikes going up and down the street. We are within walking distance of local parks and farmers markets and a short drive from children's museums and aquariums.
Our location gives us many schooling options, both desirable public schooling options and private education as well. Having bought our house in 2019, we have spent time making our house into a home- including upgrades to ensure our yard is ready for play dates and our nursery is ready for love.
Dan
Dan comes from a large North Philadelphian family. Having grown up with two older sisters and a younger brother, there was never a dull moment. In fact, Dan and all his siblings danced in their mother's dance studio - from jazz to tap to ballet, they did it all! When Dan wasn't in school or dancing in his mom's dance studio, he was riding along with his dad learning how to install windows, doors, and fences. There was no job too small or too big that these two couldn't handle. Eventually, as time progressed, Dan joined The Marines and served his country as a military police officer, both domestically and abroad. While no longer an active duty Marine, Dan has remained loyal and steadfast to protecting our county and remains employed as a Federal Agent.
Sara
Sara grew up in a small country town. While she was an only child, she spent much of her childhood and young adult years as a competitive swimmer for local teams. Sara has been and still remains dedicated to her education. She graduated with honors holding both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Economics, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree.
