We focus on our moments together because we know they create memories for a lifetime.

To a Strong and Special Woman,

We are ready to offer your child a family where he or she will feel loved not only by two adoring parents, but two adventurous and caring brothers, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

We are prepared to love your child unconditionally.

We will teach your child to value family, friends, and education.

We will support your child’s interests and encourage him or her to be bold, brave and kind.

We hope to be the answer for you if you believe adoption is the best option for your child.

Your child will know their adoption story from the beginning. And while you’ll always be considered an extended part of our family, you can let us know how much contact you are comfortable with.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking the time to learn a little about us, for your courage, and for considering placing your child for adoption.

Wishing you much peace, love and strength as you walk this journey. We hope to hear from you so we can walk this journey together.

Who We Are

We have been married for 13 years. Together, we have built a life that is family-centered. We celebrate our holidays and birthdays with grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. We explore nature with our children with trips to the zoo, the beach, and hikes through the woods. We enjoy warm summer days on the lake and cool summer nights watching for shooting stars and catching fireflies. We have fun together, sledding, building snow castles and warming up with a cup of hot cocoa in the winter. We make it a priority to gather for dinner around our table in the evening, sharing bedtime stories, prayers and snuggles each night.

Our sons are encouraged to explore their interests, so they enjoy music lessons and playing sports. We are teaching them the importance of kindness. We want them to understand that the most significant thing in this world is family. For that reason, we moved back to Western New York from Atlanta, Georgia, and hope to continue to expand our family through adoption.

We both always knew that adoption was an option for us. We are familiar with adoption as Lisa’s cousin was adopted. We have become even more familiar with adoption as our nephew was adopted as an infant eight years ago. This experience has emphasized to us the importance of being open about and celebrating a child’s adoption.

We will love and care for this child, and teach him or her about their beautiful adoption story, encourage him or her to dream big, and completely support those dreams to make sure that those dreams become a reality.

We are fortunate to have a strong and loving family and we cherish the opportunity to welcome another child into our lives. We envision our sons doting on a younger brother or sister. We can imagine them building forts, riding bikes, doing craft projects, and exploring and learning about all this world has to offer, together, as they grow.

As a family, we spend our time outdoors as much as possible. We find enjoyment playing in the sand and waves at the beach, walking through nature trails around our neighborhood, splashing in the puddles on a rainy day, visiting the playgrounds close to our home and listening to concerts in our town park. When we can’t get outside, we explore the world through stories and books, and homemade science experiments.

We value education and believe that children must not just be taught but must experience life. We love to explore museums, zoos, aquariums, cooking, trying new foods and spending time with friends that honor different cultures and traditions. We just enjoy being together and laughing!

It’s not just the four of us! Our extended family is within driving distance. We have great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins that we see often to celebrate life’s small and big moments. Cheering on the kids at sporting events, blowing out the candles on birthday cakes, enjoying warm cinnamon buns on Christmas morning, hunting for eggs on Easter, taking boat rides and BBQing chicken on the Fourth of July.

We prioritize spending time together as a family and we can’t wait to expand our family and hearts through the beautiful gift of adoption.

Adoption Diary

Butterfly In the Sky!

We have been learning about butterflies the past few weeks. Today it was time to let that little guy take flight! Watching that butterfly take flight brought so much wonder to their eyes! It’s the same wonder that is brought to our eyes watching our children grow. We continue to pray for the chance to raise another child, your child, in our family. A child that is already so deeply loved and cherished by two families. ❤️ Ryan and Lisa

And Some Days…

It’s laundry time. We know how to have fun and make memories, but sometimes the laundry gets the best of us! But even laundry can be fun, right?! ❤️ Ryan and Lisa
