One year ago, just a few days before everything shut down, we went for a hike in the Rewoods. It was so cold and started to rain but it was refreshing to get out of the city and explore, especially considering what was about to happen in the world. This day was also extra special since Alex’s dad was in town visiting. He was the last family member we saw before the pandemic stopped travel. I had a calm feeling watching the sun set on 2020. We spent the time going over our 2020, what things we had accomplished and what we Read more »

Christmas - 2020 Style

Since travel is still not recommended we spent Christmas in SF without our families, much like many families across the country. We had a quiet couple of days but made sure to FaceTime with our families to celebrate. We ended up using the time in SF, where the city was quiet, to explore a new park in our neighborhood.
