About Us
Our Story
We both went to school in New York City, and met at a house party in Queens in 2008. After a few chance meetings, we began dating around Thanksgiving. It didn’t take long for us both to realize that we found someone very special. We lived together in Brooklyn for some time, and eventually got married there in the summer of 2016. After living in New York for almost 15 years, we began to realize how important it was for us to start a family, and decided to relocate to start a new chapter.
Since the move, we adopted our dog, Buddy. We may be impartial, but he is the sweetest dog in the world! He loves children, treats, and belly scratches. We also bought our first home. We were used to sharing a small studio apartment, so this house is a major upgrade! All of this, however, was in preparation for the biggest moment of our lives: to become Dads.
Our Home
We moved into our first home about one year ago. The house was in great shape, and Rusty’s Dad helped to add the finishing touches that make it feel like a home. It’s in a historic district, and close to beautiful parks, with plenty of fun walkable activities in the spring, summer, and fall.
About Rusty
Rusty is originally from the Northeast. He caught the performing bug at an early age, and went to school in New York City for acting. After college, he fell into a Human Resources job at a large technology company, and grew passionate about HR, training, and development. He’s been with the same company for the last 13 years. In his spare time, Rusty enjoys cooking meals for his friends and family. He grew up in a house that had a weekly Sunday dinner tradition, where he’d eat with his immediate family, aunts, uncles, and cousins. There’s nothing that brings him more happiness than to see the people he loves most sharing a meal around the dinner table. Above everything, he truly cannot wait to be a Dad.
About Adam
Adam grew up in Texas, the second of four boys. He moved to New York City after high school, and soon began a career in product development and marketing. He now works as a manager at a branding and strategy agency. Adam cares deeply about traveling the world, experiencing all forms of art and culture, and learning new things; three passions that he hopes to share with your child. Above all, Adam’s main priority is his relationships, with Rusty, his family, and his friends; showering the people he loves with laughter, stability and tenderness. His goal is to share the world with your child, guiding them to become a loving, compassionate adult.
