In 2010 our lives cross paths. As we talked and became fast friends, neither knew where this would lead. But here we are seven years later happily married and best friends. We love spending time together, making each other laugh, and supporting each other’s dreams. Our love and support has grown so much for each other that we know we can overcome anything and are ready to share it with a new edition.
We enjoy hockey games, college football, parks and museums. Our hobbies not only include outdoor activities like fishing and going for walks, but also include indoor activities as well. We enjoy playing all kinds of board and card games as well as watching Disney movies. We also enjoy watching old TV series like the Cosby Show, the Brady Bunch, MacGyver and NCIS. We like to spend time visiting with our parents when we can. So, for now we do a lot of phone calls and Skype sessions.
Our family is made up not only us but also our 2-year-old son, which we also adopted. We have 2 dogs, an 11-year-old chow, Chewbacca that loves his family and a 6-month-old lab/boxer mix, Remy, that is still very much a puppy that is learning the ropes. We also have 2 cats as well, a 5-year-old gray tabby, Vala, she is scared of everything but loves to cuddle and a 1-year old calico, Cleo, which she is our good little creepy crawly getter. Our house also consists of temporary members of kitten fosters, that we call “The Itty-Bitty Kitty Committee.” We help take care of them for our local shelter until they our able to be adopted.
Our home is nestled in a quiet community development located within minutes of town that has many restaurants, shopping stores, and recreational places to find many things to do.. It is a quad level home perfect for a growing family. We have a large living room where we like to spend a lot of quality time together. It has ample space for whatever we may want to get into. Whether it be all the toys, blocks and board games to play, the collection of videos to binge watch, and books to explore our imagination, they all help provide hours of family entertainment and togetherness. The view from the dining room is our deck, where in the summer we love to cook and dine. The deck is the starting point to venture outside to our huge backyard with a swing set, picnic table, sandbox, plenty of room to run and play. And if our yard wasn’t big enough to play in we have a park across the street to play with neighbor kids and a pond that provides many hours of fishing.

Pete has to be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. He is made up of many different people that I cherish:
From being my best friend, who is always there to make me laugh, for a shoulder to cry on when I am upset, to be there to hang out, talk about anything, to have fun and enjoy life.
To being like a mother, that cares for me when sick, to wipe away the tears when hurt, to be there to support all of my dreams, and help out with the chores.
He is like a father that is always there to support his family, to fix things when they break, come home from a long day of work and still spend time with and put his family first.
To being a boyfriend by giving me all the love and passion I could ever want, surprising me with gifts and flowers for no reason, and plan dates for us.
He is my husband, my better half and soul mate. Pete to me is the ultimate person, the perfect piece that fits into my life. To some he may be just another ordinary, everyday guy, but to me Pete is the world! And I couldn’t ask for more!

I know most people will say that their wife, husband, or significant other is their best friend, but Stacey truly is my best friend. Call it fate, luck, or a blessing, she came along at the most unlikely time in my life. I had given up on ever finding that special person in my life and had decided that I was going to be single for the rest of my life. I wasn’t happy but I figured that that was just the way it was going to be. Then one night my friends talked me into reluctantly going out and it was that night I met my wife. She is the most caring and thoughtful person I have ever known. She has stuck with me through the good and the bad, and with my job in the oil and gas industry there are plenty of ups and downs and she has been there through all of them. I know that no matter what the day brings, she will always be there for me at the end of the day. And I know she will be there for me always regardless of what comes our way in life. Stacey is an amazing, kind, and caring woman, and I am feel truly blessed to have her as my wife and best friend.
