Life has no guarantees, but we promise our adoptive child will always be loved.

To all of the birth mothers who may read this: Of course we believe that you are a strong, courageous, generous woman, and we know that we can’t completely understand whatever you’re dealing with right now that has led you to consider placing your child for adoption. But we can’t wait to meet you, to learn your story and share ours, and, we hope, form a relationship that will honor your place within our family’s future. It’s a leap of faith for all of us involved, but we promise to meet you with open hearts, and all of the compassion and kindness we can offer. And if things don’t quite work out for us, we’re going to be glad to have had a chance to meet you anyway.

We hope you’ll take some time to look over our profile and get to know us a bit. And if you’re feeling nervous or uncertain or have butterflies in your stomach over all of this, and you feel like you’re not exactly sure what to do next – well, that’s exactly how we feel, too! Give us a call and we can talk about it

Who We Are

We are a married couple who want to have a family and are seeking to adopt our first child. We met over five years ago, have been together for four and were married in 2015. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to get pregnant, and began to think of adoption as a way to adapt to our situation.

In life things don’t always work out as one hopes or plans – in our case, we didn’t get the chance to complete our family as we dreamed when we decided to marry. Perhaps you are reading this because something in your life is not going as you planned and placing your baby in a loving home is what you decided to do to adapt to your situation. It is our sincerest hope that our adoption will be your solution and adaptation at this time in your life.

Adoption Diary

Rapunzel

After 20 years of long hair, Jen decided it was time for a change! 10 inches of hair is going to Locks of Love as a donation to be made into a wig for a child. The new haircut feels very different but I’m glad I did it!

Sunday

Today is Sunday, and like most Sundays we try to sleep in a little, have breakfast, and then go to the 11am service at our church. After service we were greeted by yet another winter snow, happily the snow changed over to rain, but still a gloomy day.

In the afternoon Jennifer met up with a couple of her fellow musicians. She had some inspiration to write new Christian songs and is looking to record them as a side project. In the meantime back at the ranch (our house is actually a ranch style) I decided to finish up some painting I did last weekend. It seems no matter how carefully I tape, the paint goes where it doesn’t belong.

We’ve been very encouraged by the number of views and even have a couple of follows, but we are anxious and looking to have more in-depth conversations with who we hope with be the mother of our future adoptive baby. So if you are reading this and have some interest, reach out and contact us. We’d love to talk with you.

Have a wonderful Sunday evening!
