We are waiting to meet you,

Thanks for stopping by! We are Jeff and Shelli. We live in the sometimes sunny sometimes snowy state of Minnesota with our 2 year old son, Parker. We have been searching high and low for over three years to find a birth mom and are hoping you may be the one!

Jeff works as an apprentice plumber and on the side has a passion for sports (running, biking, and wrestling).

Shelli is a pharmacist and loves most things outdoors (other than the really cold weather)

We have a total of 11 neices and nephews and Jeff's sister helps with foster care so sometimes there are even more kids at family get together.

Based on experience, we know we will provide a loving, active, and family focused life for children.

Please reach out to us with any questions. We are open to any gender, anywhere in the US, any race, last minute situations, and even a multiple birth situation.

Who We Are

We were unsure when we started with adoption if we coukd have kids due to a history of endometriosis with multiple surgeries to control it and other medical conditions. To our surprise we did have Parker but the medical conditions made it a high risk pregnancy with many complications from day 1. Delivery was also complicated and ended up with our son temporarily in a special care unit (he is a healthy and super active two year old now). Long story short, we firmly believe that adoption is the best way to provide a sibling for Parker and complete our family

Adoption Diary

Cousin time

We were blessed this last weekend that we could spend three days with our cousins and aunts and uncles that were back home visiting from the east coast.  Our son loved going to the zoo with everyone.  One day he will be such a good brother when we find out forever match for adoption.  Until he just gets to be the best cousin you could ask for.

What it is like

I commonly get asked what the hardest part of the process is, and it is by far the wait.  We have been waiting for a match for almost 4 years and it is hard to wake up optimistic someday. 

With roles reversed though,  I couldn’t imagine the strength and love it takes for an expecting mom to choose adoption.  It had to be hard decision to make but one of the most selfless gifts. 

I wake up every morning hoping today is the day we will be contacted.  I hope that we can help be a support for a mom as she makes the hard decision about if adoption is right for their child. 

We want more than ever to hear from you mom, to give you ears when you need them and support when you need it.

We have so much love to offer a child and if you want, we would love to keep you a part of our lives.
