About Us

Our Story
We met when we were in nursing and pharmacy school, in 2008, when we were set up on a blind date! We've been in love ever since and were married in 2010. We have two biological daughters, who are 3 and 5 and can't wait for a new sibling to love! In 2019, Meredith was diagnosed with a genetic mutation, which increases her cancer risk, so to eliminate the risk of uterine and cervical cancer, she had a hysterectomy in 2020. However, adoption has been something we have talked about since we were dating and now feel the call to adopt even moreso. We have so much love to give and can't wait to meet our new baby!
Our Home
We live in a large neighborhood in a suburb of Richmond, VA. It's very diverse, with families of every background, and LOTS of children! We live on a culdesac, where the girls ride their bikes almost daily. We also have a large neighborhood pool and playground, and our neighborhood holds tons of family friendly events throughout the year! Our house has five bedrooms, as well as an unfinished basement with lots of room to grow! We live about 25 minutes from the city, which has tons of museums, parks, and festivals. And we're local to many parks with playgrounds, walking trails, and places for our children to do extracurricular activities like ballet or tee ball!
Meredith
Meredith worked as a nurse for ten years before transitioning to being a stay-at-home-mom in September 2020. She has wanted to be home with her girls for as long as she can remember and is truly thriving and loving being home full time.
David
David is a wonderful father and can't wait for a new baby. He has worked at a local hospital for ten years, as a clinical pharmacist and loves his job. His favorite activities with his family are travelling, riding roller coasters, and playing board games.
