Our life together...We began our life together 20 years ago. We immediately connected and knew we were meant to be together. We have had highs and lows in every aspect of life, however with every low we have come out stronger. With every high, there's another layer to us.
We are both fortunate enough to have very successful careers that will give us the ability for a child to really experience life. We will be forever grateful to share life experiences and give a child everything they could need. We look forward to making memories and sharing a life filled with love.
Our home was built by Jay's grandfather. Last year we remodeled and updated our home so that we can take advantage of life's little luxuries. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 & 1/2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and dining room area a large living room with a cozy fireplace and a rec room in the basement. We have a private fenced in yard that is great for bbq's and picnics.
Jay's parents live next door and he has lots of family in the neighborhood. There are a lot of children and young families. We took every step possible to ensure our harm is safe and comfortable for a child.
We live near beaches, farms and lots of museums. We are just a train ride away from NYC, too!
I feel the traits that would make me a good parent are; I have lots of experience teaching kids which has showed me what works and what does not. I'm a big believer of positive reinforcement rather than criticism. I'm also extremely patient with kids and try to understand their point of view. I look forward tp being the best parent I could be and give the best guidance possible and all with lots of love!
I'm a simple girl at heart! I enjoy baking and cooking. I often bake lots of treats to share with friends and family around the holidays.
I love animals and currently have a little pug named Bernie.
During the summer I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, especially near the water.
I also enjoy traveling and exploring new cities with my husband.
