Sister Weekend Part 1
My sister and I had a little sister weekend adventure in Philadelphia. There is nothing like the bond of a sibling and I am so lucky to have the best sister on the planet. We did get some snowy weather and my sister joked that it was like driving through a snow globe that someone shook too hard. However, we enjoyed walking around downtown Philly in spite of the weather. Philadelphia is a really cool city with tons of history and fascinating architecture. We were able to check out the famous Reading Terminal Market which was such a treat for us. It was so unique and a totally different experience. We drove in for a live podcast taping and discovered what a neat venue the Kimmel Cultural Center is. How cool is it that podcasts have become so popular that my sister and I actually took a drive for the live taping of one. There was great energy in the theater and it was hilarious. My sister surprised me with a fun sister weekend banner that our Mom handmade for us and some balloons in the hotel room. We need to do sister weekend getaways more often!
