Ready To Join Adoptimist?
Your profile will launch only after you meet our homestudy requirements and profile requirements. Check out the list below to make sure you are ready to launch. If you can't meet our minimum requirements yet, consider holding off on signing up until you can! Remember, your first seven days on the site are free. You don't want to waste them.
• Home study Verification. Please read our requirements for more information.
• Main photo. The bigger, the better. We will use your photo for a variety of purposes including web banners and social sites. 700 pixels width minimum recommended, please. Smaller photos will look blurry in our system and will be rejected by platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
• Intro paragraph / letter. Even one or two lines will do. But if you really want to take your time with it, you might consider writing your letter ahead of time in a text editor and then pasting it in.
• Your Story / Bio. Again, even one or two lines will suffice just to open your profile. But eventually you'll want to develop something that truly tells the story of who you are as a family.
• Billing Info. You will be asked to submit your credit card & billing info when you signup. This means that billing begins immediately, upon joining. So be sure that you are ready before submitting your information.
