A Slightly Unusual Wednesday
So on a normal Wednesday, Hysun would be mentoring a young person who is looking to get into the industry after work. But Hysun is teaching a class at work today so the meeting gets cancelled until next week. His group teach classes for one week a month its his favorite part of his job.
It’s not a normal Wednesday for me either. Sam normally has a piano lesson in the afternoon and then we have our catch up time afterwards. Today though he was invited to spend the rest of the week with his best friend for his friends birthday. We used to live nextdoor to the family but both families moved out of that city in the same month and we are now almost 2 hours away from each other. We try to get them together for a weekend every month so they can maintain their friendship. Because both boys are homeschooled we have the flexibility to have them together for several weekdays. Sam finished all of his school for the week early so he wouldn’t have to worry about catching up when he got home.
Since I don’t have my normal plans today, I am going to spend a couple hours in the city after dropping Sam off since I don’t often get to do that. I’m thinking of wandering Target and have some coffee from a coffee truck nearby.
