Celebrating adoption day
We’re less than a week away from celebrating adoption day number 10 with our oldest. I can’t believe that it’s been 10 years since we finalized her adoption.
12 years ago we were finishing up our licensing to become foster parents for the first time. We had a baby at home and were ready to add to our family. Little did we know that our daughter was already out there waiting for us.
In the last 10 years our oldest has done so much! We fought for her to go to preschool, even when she needed extra support. She got cochlear implants and can finally enjoy music again. She’s done countless hours of therapy to walk, communicate, and learn to feed herself. Now she’s in high school and do job training!!
In 10 more years I hope we are still celebrating our love for our ever growing family.
