Submit Your Homestudy
Adoptimist requires that all our families submit proof of a current homestudy in order to keep a visible profile on our site. If your profile has closed, simply submit your homestudy and your profile will be reopened as soon as we've approved your submission.
Instructions
We will accept a copy of the home study itself (first and last pages w/ signatures is sufficient) or a signed letter from a social worker or adoption agency stating that your family has successfully completed the home investigation (aka home study). Your homestudy must be current. Any information you submit is for our records only and will not ever be shared publicly.
Approval Process
We will do our best to rapidly process submissions. Although we will generally respond quickly, please allow up to 2 - 3
business days for us to process digital or faxed submissions (USPS mail will take longer.). Email us for updates if we have not
responded to your requests in a timely manner.
For Families in the States of New York and Arizona only
We require submission of your Certification Order. This is the Order
issued by courts in NY and AZ to prospective adoptive parents who wish
to pursue independent/private placement adoption. Please submit the
Order in its entirety.

Important Information On Closed Profiles
A Closed profile will not be deleted from our system. You may still log in to your account and view or edit your profile. But your profile will not be visible on the site. As soon as you submit your homestudy and receive our approval, your profile will be visible on the site once again.
