About Us
Our Story
Our love story began in 2008 when we met online. After dating for awhile and having many conversations about what we wanted out of life, we knew that we wanted to be together forever. We had our commitment ceremony in 2008 with a party surrounded by our closest family and friends. Then, in 2018 we were legally wed. We pride ourselves in respecting one another along with helping each other be the best versions of ourselves.
For as long as we can remember, we both wanted to start a family. Then, in November of 2021, that dream became a reality when we welcomed Wyatt into our lives. We feel very lucky to have been chosen by Wyatt's birth parents and continue to have a strong relationship with them via an open adoption. As a family, we love to be outside, take walks with our dogs, and ride bikes. We are fortunate to have one another and are excited at the prospect of growing our family.
Our Home
We live in a neighborhood that is filled with a lot of families with children and is close to a lot of parks. We moved into our current home about two years ago and have been enjoying spending the free time we have updating things around the house. One of the most recent projects we completed was a playroom for Wyatt, that includes a lot of toys and a tunnel with a ball pit for his puppies to chase him through. It wouldn’t be a home without our two dogs, Tucker and Max. It is a place filled with laughter, love, and family gatherings. We can’t wait to take your child to the beautiful park that is less than a mile from our home that includes walking paths, bike trails, multiple playgrounds, a pond for fishing, and a river for kayaking. We also are about an hour away from a major zoo and an amazingly fun children’s museum. One thing we will hopefully share with your child is playing putt-putt as a family and eating ice cream on summer evenings.
Jenny
Occupation: Vice President of family-owned manufacturing business.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Jenny grew up with her parents and younger brother. She is very close to her family and credits them for the person that she is today.
Jenny is laid back and loves spending time with Stacy & Wyatt. She is a very understanding and patient Mom to Wyatt and loves teaching him new things. She loves meeting new people, travelling to new places and getting to visit family and friends whenever she can. She also has two nieces who live ten minutes away in the same town and she loves spending time with them as often as she can.
Jenny is often described as kind and understanding. She also has a sense of humor and loves to laugh.
Stacy describes her as loyal, empathetic, family-oriented, and a wonderful spouse.
Stacy
Occupation: Registered Nurse/Healthcare IT Management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Stacy is a very family-oriented person with a strong work ethic and accepting outlook on life. She grew up in Kentucky and shares a close relationship with her immediate and extended family. Stacy is a great Mom to Wyatt and enjoys getting to spend quality time with him and Jenny. Stacy loves sports and anything that brings out her competitive side. She is warm and caring and is a very loyal spouse and friend. Stacy loves to read books and has a lot of patience when it comes to learning something new. Whether she is learning how to complete projects around the house or putting together plans for a family vacation, she always gives it her all.
Jenny describes Stacy as loyal, a strong support system, and someone who always sees the best in life.
