Our Story
Together, we have built a relationship based on honesty and trust. We believe in open communication and supporting each other in becoming the best versions of ourselves. As partners and best friends, we know that we can rely on one another to share everyday joys as well as life’s significant milestones. We often reflect on the incredible fortune we had of finding each other.
We are excited about welcoming a child into our home. Our commitment to each other and our shared values are the foundation of our family. We will give our child the same values of love, respect, and kindness that have guided us throughout our lives.
Our Home
We feel fortunate to call Greenwich Village in New York City our home. It's a lively neighborhood offering restaurants with cuisines from all around the world right at our doorstep. There is no shortage of entertainment with theaters, live music venues, and museums in the area.
Greenwich Village is known for being very safe and friendly, making it an ideal place for children and families. The schools here are excellent, ensuring that our little one receives a quality education. Just a block away, there is a fantastic playground with fun slides and swings, always bustling with kids having a great time.
On sunny days, we love strolling along the Hudson River, taking in the beauty of New York City. We're also lucky to have the famous Central Park just 15 minutes away, offering a peaceful escape from the city throughout the year.
Our neighborhood, along with the vibrant city itself, offers endless opportunities for a child to grow and thrive, surrounded by a friendly and safe environment.
Flo
I'm a consultant in the healthcare industry and I absolutely love my job. I spend my days learning about a fascinating field and talking to interesting people, and time just flies by.
When I come home from work, one of my favorite things to do is give Clement a warm hug. I enjoy slipping into bed with a good book and listening to the sound of rain when I'm cozy inside. I love cooking and baking for Clement or friends on weekends (there’s nothing like enjoying a freshly baked cake after licking the batter from the mixing bowl!). I also like going for walks, both on foot and on horseback. Reaching the top of a summit and enjoying a beautiful panoramic view brings me so much joy!
Spending time with my friends and family is incredibly important to me. We spend a lot of time together, and I dream of having the same closeness with Clement and our children as the one I had with my parents and siblings. I have known for a long time that I want to have children, and I quickly realized that Clement was the person I wanted to embark on that journey with.
Clement on Florent:
Florent is easygoing, he never gets angry, he’s open to anything, and he will try everything at least once. He is amazing with children and is one of the kindest and most genuine guys I’ve ever known. Ever since I met him, I knew that his unique combination of honesty, empathy, and earnestness would make for a terrific father.
Clem
I'm a curious person who enjoys learning new things. I am interested in everything from world history to natural sciences. Lately, I've been exploring the history of the Middle Ages. I love to discuss these topics with Florent when we both come home in the evening.
My experience as a high school science teacher has made me realise how much I love helping children understand how the world works and seeing them grow throughout the year.
Apart from that, I find joy in little things like reading the news or listening to a new podcast, trying out new restaurants with Florent, and dancing with our friends to our favourite songs. These simple pleasures make life even more special!

With his generosity and a strong moral compass, I am sure Clement will be an extraordinary father.
His commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others, for example through his work with children in schools, shows his desire to do good. I am confident that Clement will be a great father who will instill our values and support our little ones in pursuing their dreams.
