16 years ago, we met on a dating app (through Hill’s best friend, who talked to me first and thought Hill & I would be a perfect match).
From the start, there was an undeniable connection. We talked for hours every night. I (Pam) was still hesitant to meet in person, but I finally agreed.
(random side note: Our first date was the day after I graduated High School)
On the day of our date, I was planning to meet Hill after a scheduled job training. No phones were allowed during the training, and it was running late...4 HOURS LATE.
But Hill had a feeling there was something special about me, and his gut told him to wait it out. And the rest is history.
16 years, 3 houses, 1 child & 1 kitty later, we've been together through thick & thin.
We own a charming four-bedroom colonial home on Long Island, New York. It's warm & welcoming, and we love that our family, friends, and neighbors feel comfortable kicking their feet up & hanging out.
We spend a lot of time outside in our large backyard. We love being surrounded by nature.
Our little neighborhood is active, safe & offers a lot to families with children. Our block is full of kids of all ages, and we all get together for everything from BBQs, to trick-or-treating, to 4th of July at the beach, to a simple game of catch in the front yard.
Our school district is quite intimate. It's the type of community where neighbors are friends & everyone looks out for each other.
There's a close-knit. small-town vibe, and we truly love living here.
The biggest thing to know about Pam is that she loves her family fiercely. She's truly meant to be a mom.
Pam's a stay-at-home-mom, and she's loved being there for all the "firsts" and milestones. I know she's so excited to continue to be at home with our next child.
Pam is super creative, from decorating, to gardening, to DIY projects. She also loves to cook, and we eat dinner together as a family every night.
We balance each other out in so many ways. Pam's truly the glue that binds our family together.
I can't wait to see her share the love in her heart with another child! And I know she's so ready.
Hill is such a warm & outgoing person. He's the guy who's friendly with everyone. He's FUN & full of adventure.
Hill would literally do ANYTHING to make me happy. He is my calm, my life teammate & my absolute best friend.
Hill works incredibly hard to provide for his family. We're fortunate that his career allows for a flexible schedule, because I know that being an involved dad is very important to him.
Hill loves all things sports. He was so excited to coach soccer for Matthew last year, and t-ball now that it's spring. I really admire him being such an active parent.
I love watching Hill be a dad, and can't wait to watch him swell with absolute pride as our family grows again.
