Dear Birthmother,
Thank you for looking at our profile and thinking of us for your precious child. We understand that considering adoption for your child is a difficult decision and we want you to know that we have the utmost respect for you and your brave, selfless and loving choice.
We'd like to introduce ourselves. We're Sam and Naffy. We've been married for eight years and live in New York State. We're experienced foster parents and would love to be able to provide a forever family to your child. Sam is a equality lawyer and Naffy works in education. We love the outdoors and hike regularly. We are also a very creative family- Sam is a potter and Naffy participates in dance and theatre. We have a wide and diverse social network having lived in many countries. We enjoy cooking together, playing board games, cycling and travelling. We love learning new things and having new experiences together.
Foster and adoption was always our first choice to start our family. We have been described as caring, loving and adventurous by one of our foster kids. They say there's no manual to raising children but we feel that having been foster parents, we have gained a lot of valuable life experience to bring to raising our forever child. We have often been told by the professionals that we provide the best care and parenting to foster children in our care.
We will provide a loving, nurturing and supportive home for your child. We will create a secure environment for them to thrive in, where they can learn, play, explore and be themselves. We will be there to support them through all of life's ups and downs and help them become the best version of themselves.
With us, your child will go to school in the best school district in the county we live in. They will benefit from a parent always at home with them in their early years as we both have great work parental leave allowance and flexible working arrangements. They will have the opportunity to travel widely; we are a family with rights to live in at least 34 countries, and family and close friends in many others. If they choose to go to college, they will have the choice of colleges or universities in a number of countries as well as the US. They will have opportunities to learn sports, musical instruments and any interest that they might develop. We are both able to support any learning needs your child might have.
We are open to the possibility of open adoptions. We believe that it is important for your child to know their biological roots and we are committed to fostering a relationship with you if that is your desire. We have a lot of experience working with birth families of the foster kids we have cared for, keeping them updated of the progress and milestones of our kids.
We hope that you will consider us as prospective adoptive parents for your child. We promise to love and cherish them for the rest of our lives and provide them with a life full of love, laughter and happiness.
