Who We Are
We met in psychology class in college, and were soon married. Now, we’ve been married for 22 years and have been best friends. We have traveled endlessly. Over the years we’ve run a business working one-to-one with hundreds of kids under the age of five and have had many investment properties. We’ve spent 4-5 days in 49 states, usually visiting national parks (every state except Hawaii.) Our daughter Mary was born in 2019, she loves to travel. Sometimes we laugh to think all the fun places she’s been at such a young age. She constantly talks about having a little brother or sister to love. One of the most important things for us in life is to raise our children to be loving siblings that will grow together happily and be there for each other as they get older.
Adoption Diary
Loving a brother or sister
We took Mary to a toy store and she picked out a doll bed and kept telling us it was for her baby. We thought she was talking about her baby dolls. We were at the counter ready to pay and she whispered to me “tell the lady we are adopting a baby.” The innocence at that moment made me smile at her thinking that a baby was coming soon and she was preparing for her or him.
