About Us

Our Story
We were unsure when we started with adoption if we could have kids due to a history of endometriosis with multiple surgeries to control it and other medical conditions. To our surprise we did have Parker but the medical conditions made it a high risk pregnancy with many complications from day 1. Delivery was also complicated and ended up with our son temporarily in a special care unit (he is a healthy and super active two year old now). Long story short, we firmly believe that adoption is the best way to provide a sibling for Parker and complete our family.
We live north of the twin cities metro in MN with our five year plan to move back to a hobby farm in the area. Jeff grew up on a hobby farm and was the youngest of four kids. Shelli grew up living the lake life with one older sister. Together we have 11 cousins for Parker and one day another child to play with.
Jeff's one sister does foster care so we sometimes even have extra kids to play with.
Our Home
We currently in the suburbs with a park visible from the end of our driveway and a small woods with a large pond behind our home. Our five year plan is to move to the country and have a hobby farm complete with horses, a cow, and chickens.
Jeff
Jeff has been the most involved dad a child could ask for. He loves going on a fun adventure every weekend such as the farm, aquarium, zoo, or visiting grandparents and cousins.
He is very patient and thinks things through. Jeff is very family oriented and wants to make sure family time is quality!
Shelli
Shelli has been a mom who wants to do everything. She does a great job of making sure tummies are fed and playtime is fun. She wants to protect our son and wants to make him feel better when he gets a boo boo. Every night after dinner she tries to take us on a family walk with our dog too.
