When you know, you know. We met over 15 years ago working in New York City in a famous jazz club and have been together ever since. We got married in 2012 and have since enjoyed some really awesome adventures. One of our favorite things to do is travel. But the best trip is our annual beach trip with Sean's family.
Life has not always been picture perfect. In 2015 we lost our son due to a rare pregnancy related illness. This led us to look into adoption.
And in 2017 we were chosen to be our daughter's parents. We keep open communication with her first family. She is a complete joy and can't wait to be a big sister!
We live in three story row house that is almost 100 years old. It is located in the heart of our city's most culturally diverse neighborhood. Just around the corner is the park, playground, splash pad, tennis courts and basketball courts too! There is also a big state park that over looks the Statue of Liberty.
And since we are near New York City, we can enjoy all kinds of fun events, concerts and festivals.
Together, our family enjoys the simple things too- bikes rides in the state park down the street from us, cook outs on a nice summer day, road trips and movie night in our PJs.
Sean grew up in Florida. He has one older brother who he is very close with. As a kid, he played hockey & baseball and was also very involved in theatre. He even majored in theater in college. Sean is the funniest man you will ever meet!
Our annual beach trips with his family are almost better than Christmas! Sean is a dedicated husband, father and friend. Some of our best friends were his friends as a kid.
Sean is a jack of all trades. He can honestly do anything he tries -Whether remodeling projects in our home or becoming the diaper changing king (LOL) he can do it all. Sean works for a hotel in New York City.
He is an amazing Dad! He and our daughter are two peas in a pod. They crack each other up. Sean loves to play cards and read detective novels.
Leigh Anne is a southern girl at heart. She was born in Dallas, Texas. Her favorite childhood memories are lunch at her Granny's house after church and the many hours she spent in the dance studio.
She will do anything to make an event even more special. Birthdays, Christmas, you name it and she will make it the best day. She truly has a compassionate nature. She is always baking sweet treats or making cards with our daughter to send to family and friends who live far from us.
Leigh Anne is a super mom! She is so patient and attentive with our daughter. She is helping mold and raise our daughter to be strong and full of self confidence. When she's not "Moming" she likes to take yoga or work in our front garden.
