Dear Expectant Mother,

We are blessed that you took the time to view our profile and we hope this gives you a glimpse of who we are and the love we have to give. We are Marie and Anthony from Long Island, NY and we are dreaming of the gift of adoption to become first-time parents.

We wholeheartedly appreciate how difficult it is to make this decision and we would be forever grateful to be chosen by you. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will make sure your child understands how difficult this is for you.

As parents, we promise to provide a loving and caring home where a child can grow and thrive. We will dedicate every moment to providing our future child with love, support and laughter. Our large extended family would welcome our future child with open arms we cannot wait for our future child to meet all 8 cousins.

We both have wonderful relationships with our parents and extended family. We had very close relationships with all of our grandparents. We cannot wait for our future child to experience that same amount of love our family has to give.

Anthony is a Teacher and Marie works from home as an Art Director. We love the summer and all outdoor activities. To learn more about us view please view the rest of our profile and our website https://www.marieandanthonyadopt.com

Who We Are

We are Marie and Anthony, we met in high school and even danced at Anthony’s prom. After college we kept running into each other at different places and we kept joking that one night we would go on a date. So, one evening we joined two friends on a double date where we quickly realized that we had similar values and interests and really loved laughing and spending time together. As some would say, the rest is history. We got married in July 2010 and moved to a beautiful town on Long Island, New York.

Adoption Diary

Our Christmas wish

Our Christmas wish is to become parents through adoption.

We went to our village’s holiday event and Christmas tree lighting on Sunday. There are many activities for kids, like a petting zoo and meeting Santa, and we hope to bring our little one next year. We walked through our favorite stores, including the chocolate shop, where we got hot chocolates and bought hot chocolate bombs for the house. The sunset was incredible, and it was a magical evening, and it ended with the Christmas tree lighting.

After the tree lighting, we went to get our Christmas tree. For the past 9 years, we have been going to the same tree stand to get our Christmas tree. It’s a family-owned business from Vermont. It usually takes me some time to pick out the perfect tree. We dream of taking our future child to pick the Christmas tree with us. We both love the look and smell of a real Christmas tree. It’s a tradition we both have loved since we were kids. When we got home, Anthony set the tree up in the stand. We plan to add the lights and decorate it this week.

Hello December!

It’s beginning to look and smell like Christmas. We started to decorate the house last weekend, and we plan to finish up this weekend. We are a little Christmas-obsessed. We have a small tree in the kitchen (red, white, silver, and black) and in the dining room (silver and gold). And this weekend, we will pick our real Christmas tree for our living room. I can’t wait! Picking out and decorating our tree is one of my favorite things to do during Christmas! After that, Anthony will set up the outdoor Christmas lights, and I will finish up the inside of the house.

I love making a simmer pot during the holiday season; it makes the house smell AMAZING! I use cranberries, oranges, cinnamon sticks, and sometimes apples or lemons, and even afresh Christmas tree branches.

We have a fun-filled December planned, can’t wait to share all the things :)
