Happily married, loving couple seeks to adopt second child
Hi there!
We are so happy you have found our profile! First, we want to say we admire your strength, courage and selflessness in considering adoption for your child. Second, we are so honored that you are looking at our family's story. Let us introduce ourselves-We are Kim and Steve from NY. We share our home with our three year old daughter, our oversized lap dog and two snuggly cats. Our home is large and filled with love. We have a nursery set up with a crib, rocking chair and changing table, ready for the next baby. All it needs is blue or pink paint!
While we are not perfect, we love the life we have built together. Our home is the gathering place for our family, many of whom live only a short distance away. Steve's sister and her family live just around the corner and our children can access our yards by a gate in between. This makes for extra fun-filled summers with our daughter and her cousins running back and forth between our yards.
We love to laugh and have fun. Hiccups are a constant problem because we just cannot stop laughing. Our days are spent dancing, doing arts and crafts, cooking together and planning our next adventure. In the warm weather, we spend a lot of time outside swimming, building sandcastles at the beach and going for walks at our local park, complete with a duck pond.
In addition to all the family activities, Kim and Steve love to go on date nights to local restaurants and to the theatre in NYC. And of course every chance he gets, Steve loves to go to a Yankees game!
We know during this difficult time and you have so many options to consider. As fellow parents, we understand that you are trying to do the best that you can for your little one even though this is not the situation you may have wanted. Life comes at you with all sorts of surprises; some good, some difficult. We have had struggles too and understand that things do not always look the way you expect.
For us, there can be no mistake that expanding our family through adoption is the way to our happily ever after. We are so excited to open our hearts and our home to another child. We have been fortunate to experience the joys of parenthood and how fulfilling raising a child can be. We are thrilled to do it all over again with another baby. Ever midnight cuddle, every goodnight kiss, every morning smile, every wide-eyed look of wonderment when a child experiences something new and every “I love you Mommy and Daddy” humbles us and brings us closer together. We cannot wait to do it all over again!
We have so much love, fun and laughter to give and so many family traditions to experience with our second child. All of this under our new family mantra that no matter what, you should never give up. We know that firsthand if you keep pushing through the difficult times in life, good things are waiting for you just around the corner.
We want you to know that at this point in your journey, we are all about supporting you as you navigate your options. As we mentioned by sharing a piece of our story with you in this introduction, we understand struggle and hardship. We would never judge or disparage you. If you do choose adoption and choose our family to raise your child, we will provide a loving, supportive and caring environment for both the child and you as their birth mother. No matter what happens in the future, to our family you will always be the hero of our story and the perfect piece that gave us our happily ever after.
