Kelly & Robert

We met on a blind date arranged by mutual friends. Over the years they had tried to set us up several times, but the timing never quite worked. In 2007, their persistence paid off and we went on our first date. We had an instant connection, were married 3 years later, and our wonderful adventure together began.
We are both active people who say "yes" more than we say "no" to things. This has resulted in some wonderful experiences with just the right amount of chaos to keep life interesting. We love the outdoors and enjoy fishing, hiking, camping and skiing together, but the main thing we really enjoy is creating memories. Weeknight meals become Food Network style cooking sessions, family gatherings become themed parties, and bike rides become quests to explore new places.
We are blessed to have been raised in close-knit families. Robert has 2 sisters and a brother and Kelly has 4 sisters. We have a total of 16 nieces and nephews (so far!) including 2 who have become part of the family through adoption.
We also have large extended families that we are close with, which makes for fun family gatherings, such as annual beach parties and Christmas celebrations. Our lifelong friends and like family and we see them as often as we can, planning beach days and BBQ's.
Our family and friends are extremely supportive and there will be no shortage of love when we welcome a child into the family.
