Pie Season is Here!
Since we’ve both been home so much more than expected lately, Rob & are thinking of getting a head start on our holiday preparations.
For me, step 1 involves finding & perfecting a solid pie recipe for Thanksgiving. I had my heart set on making a strawberry-rhubarb filling for months, not realizing that rhubarb disappears from grocery store shelves in the winter. On this round, I improvised with some slices of green apple. We’ll see how it turns out!
Cooking & baking have become huge passions for me since Rob & I got married. Food is such a fun way to create & maintain traditions, especially for holidays & birthdays. I’m really excited to have a little one to cook for (or cook with!). It’s become a really fun way to show my family how much I love them.
