For the past few years, we’ve been crafting some of our Christmas gifts for friends & family members. This year, Rob thought it would be fun if we tried our hand at candle making. After a little bit of trial & error, we managed to be pretty successful! The hardest parts were trying to melt the color chips into each little pot of wax & waiting for each individual layer of wax to harden before continuing to pour.
While we do enjoy these kinds of traditions, we started them mostly for our future kids. We both agree that crafting projects are great for stretching creativity & developing problem solving skills. These homemade gifts will be a lot more meaningful when they’re made with little hands & a growing mind.
