Who We Are
Annie and Aaron met the old fashioned way- through friends at a coffee shop!
We fell in love over breakfasts (Annie worked overnights in a high school dormitory).
Usually, Annie loves to travel (and so does Carmen) and Aaron is a homebody who likes to stay home and keep things cozy.
Goodbye 2020! Hello 2021!
We spent the New Year with another family that has been very careful about COVID precautions. One of them is even fortunate to have already b been vaccinated for COVID-19.
We ice skated, ice fished, went cross-country skiing, ate too much food, played board games, and read Harry Potter aloud.
We are so thankful for phenomenal friends that we love spending time with, especially this year, when we’ve seen so very few people.
The holidays seemed pretty tranquil, and we’re ready for a new little person to stir things up a bit for us again. :)
We’ve spent a rather unusual Christmas away from family—which is weird for us! We usually get together with our family, and with friends—the upside of all of this is that we’re not traveling on snowy or icy roads, and we’ve spent a lot of time in our jammies!
We’ve been ice fishing, sledding, and for walks outside most days. We’re looking forward to cracking open our “poppers” on New Years Eve—it’s Aaron’s favorite holiday!
