Your bravery is our HOPE and our love is a PROMISE to you

Hello! We are Hugo and Pam. First, we want to thank you for the time you are taking to get to know us. We cannot begin to imagine the decision you are facing and we continue to keep you in our prayers so that you are given wisdom and courage to make a decision that you will be at peace with.

From the day that we met, we've always dreamed about having children and raising them with strong values centered on faith, compassion, kindness and tolerance. So we prayed fervently for a baby and God has answered our prayers by making our paths cross with yours.

Please allow us to talk a little bit about ourselves. We live in a large and cozy apartment in New York City and we’ve been married for 6 years. We are devout Catholics and we put God at the center of our marriage. Prayer is an important part of our daily lives. We are active members of our Parish, where we both serve in the mass. We are immigrants - Hugo is from Argentina and Pam is from the Philippines. Coming from different countries and being married allows us to embrace each other’s culture (food, language, traditions) which makes our marriage fun and interesting. We intend to raise our child honoring both our cultures and traditions and building new traditions as a naturalized American family living in America.

Music is an integral part of our lives. Hugo plays the guitar and piano while Pam plays the piano and sings. We hold weekend jamming sessions and can't wait to immerse our children in music and dance. On weekends, we go to the park, we visit museums or we stroll the busy but pretty streets of downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn. In the summer, we spend time in our building’s pool club where many young families from our building go with their children to swim. Sometimes we invite friends to come over so they can cool off from the warm, humid New York summers. We own bikes which we use in the summer to bike around the city. Hugo is passionate about soccer. He plays on weekends and always talks about his desire to play sports with his children.

We are nature lovers and we like to drive outside the city to be in the woods or by the ocean. As such, we'd like to raise our children to appreciate and feel grounded in nature so that they will always remember and love where they came from.

We look forward to meeting you and thank you for your selflessness.

Who We Are

We met, fell in love and married in New York City. We've made a home here close to family, our church and our friends. We love the outdoors and often take our bikes out as we explore the city or we take a stroll to admire the architecture of buildings, the history of the places we walk in or just observe people as they walk to and from different directions. We are a family deeply grounded in our Catholic faith so prayer is a part of our everyday lives. Every night we pray the rosary as a way to give thanks and to ask for guidance so we continue to live our lives in God’s grace. We are committed to raising a child grounded in the same Catholic faith.

Both of us come from close-knit families and we make it a point to get together regularly. Our children will grow up with the support of cousins and extended family on both sides.
