We have two kids, we live in SE Michigan, and love going on family adventures.

Dear Expectant Mom, we know this is a difficult time for you and can only try and put ourselves in your shoes. We have been praying that God would lead us together so that we can help you as you walk through adoption and beyond. We want to be able to allow you to see your baby grow up and be apart of their life, things like birthdays, kindergarten graduations, or just time spent together. We think it is important that they know you and we would like to open our home and our family to you. We have two kids Madelyn (5) and Andrew (4). Our other baby is our cat Cash.
As a family, we spend a lot of time hanging out together or playing outside. We love taking the kids to Greenfield Village to ride the carousel, see the farm animals, and ride the train. We play lots of UNO, we eat family dinner together and are active in our church. We are just a normal Christian family looking to adopt and would love for you to give us a chance. We are open to a boy or girl and multiples would be great too.

Who We Are

Paul and I met at church and after a year of dating got married and here we are. We have been happily married for 8 years, this year. We spent the first few years getting our business established before having our kids. We now have a stable business and Paul has a flexible schedule and spends a lot of time at home with the family.
We know a strong marriage is important when raising kids and so we try and do at least one date night a month and one date lunch. We enjoy fine dining and usually pamper ourselves with shrimp and steak. Traveling is also something we enjoy. Paul travels for work but as a family we go to a family camp once a year on Lake Michigan, we travel to Florida a lot, and do some small trips just little weekend getaways.
What matters most to us is family which we feel like includes our extended family and our church family. Good food, friends and fellowship is what we aim for.

Our Greenfield Village Adventures

One of my kid’s favorite things to do in the summer is to go to Greenfield Village. What is “the Village” as my kids like to call it? Henry Ford (the guy to made the first Model-T car) made a place filled with historical buildings such as Thomas Edison’s laboratory, Noah Webster’s house, and a bunch of other places. You can go into most of the buildings and they have a lot of fun things to do like ride an old train, ride old cars from the early 1900s, ride a 100-year-old carousel, old buses,  or horse-drawn buggies. We have a membership and so the kids love going to visit the farm and ride all the rides. It gets us out of the house and we like wandering around the whole place, most of it is outside. We make a whole morning out of it and sometimes meet our friends there and have lunch. They have a working farm there, chickens, horses, ducks, cows, and pigs. Even though we are in the city it feels like we are a million miles away in the country. We usually go a few times a month. It has been closed because of COVID but we get to finally go tomorrow.

Summer Things

One of my favorite things to do is garden. Since kiddos and I are at home we have time to water and take care of flowers and our veggies. I also think it is nice to let the kids watch the plants grow. When I was a kid, my mom had a garden and it brings back such great memories or watching things grow and then getting to pick the veggies after working so hard to help them grow. The kids help me plant the flowers too. We make a day of it after going to the store with Grandma to pick out the plants.
