He we are at our local park. We love our sweet riverr town.
We met more than a decade ago
And recently celebrated our 8th wedding anniversarry.
We've had fun adventures, like a trip to Yellowstone.
And in our pre-kid days, would bike everywhere, in the city and out.
We love being parents. We are crazy in love with our daughter. She's changed our lives for the better in every way — every day.
Despite the craziness of the world, we still went on vacation this summer for 3 weeks. It was so fun and relaxing, despite all the new protocols.
Enjoying our summer vacation during the crazy year that is 2020.
Cat ears for cat bingo on Zoom with Chris’s fun fam during quarantine.
This is Chris — an attorney, the school drop off king, expert sand castle builder and, according to him, a so-so guitar player.
This is Suzy — a writer/reporter, loves photography, being class mom, tending to our mini garden, playing by the sea.
We met in NYC a decade ago.
We've been together ever since.
Eight years ago, we were married in a tiny wedding in New England, where we vacation with both of our families and friends each summer.
We are totally cuckoo about our daughter. She's smart, funny, kind, helpful and the best hugger on the planet.
Here we are at one of our local riverfront parks. We love our town.
The three of us checking out a nearby park over the winter.
This past Halloween, we went off to see the Wizard. Our entire family joined the themed costume.
Another fun/silly Halloween.
We are in New England as much as possible in the summer. Last year, we spend six weeks at the beach.
While there, beach strolls are a must.
And snuggles with this #GirlDad.
We also loved visiting Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean. We went on a glass submarine ride.
Another favorite annual trip is to a lake resort in NY. We go with our friends and there's swimming, bike riding, hiking, horseback riding and magic shows.
We made it to Disney World right before the pandemic.
We love a family dance party.
Chris and Gigi dressed up for a daughter-dad school dance.
Silly accessories for holidays? Yep, we got 'em.
The sunsets are extra brilliant along the river where we live.

Home sweet home
Home sweet home
We own a 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom co-op that has beautiful river views from every window and our porch. It is in a really great community and wonderful, kid-friendly town outside of NYC.
Our artist friend painted murals on Gigi's bedroom wall — it's a magical spot for her to iplay and daydream.
Our friend will be back to to paint a mural in the nursery for our new addition arrives.
Our living room
There is lots of green space, including right outside our front door. Gigi has been playing in the sprinkler a ton this spring.
These two sweet, gentle best buddies - our cats Henry and Boo - always greet us at the door and don't miss a story time.
Our complex is like a giant park, great for scooting.
We also belong to a pool and tennis club. Her best friends from school are also members and they run from the pool to the playground and then the snack bar.
Our historic town is often ranked among the "best places to live" and the schools rated among the best in the country.
We have a new playground — and there are several others in our tiny town as well as walking trails.
At the end of our street, there's a fun wooded area that we walk to each evening and search for fairies.
The view from our porch at sunset.
There is a 400 acre woods with trails in our town and a reservoir on one side.
We are out on the river overlook a lot. It's great for sunset viewings, but also a great place to fly a kite.
We attended a Black Lives Matter protest in town.
We live in this kind of magical small river town outside NYC. This is our Main Street — the hub of all activity in an otherwise sleepy town. Every time you are there, you see at least one person you know.
We have so many uncrowded playgrounds in town — including three in our two riverfront parks.
We have so many places to walk and hike, including 400 acres of woods with this beautiful reservoir on one side.
Chris wandering in the woods among the pines.
This little fairy playing in the woods.
We can catch a sunset at our house — or walk down the street to one of the parks.
The river is so beautiful, especially in summer.
At the end of our block, there's another wooded area and we walk there almost every evening. Gigi thinks fairies live there.
We look about at the water there, then walk back home.
Chris and Gigi by the reservoir.
The three of us at one of our parks.
Our neighborhood backs on the elementary school our kids will attend. Gigi and her BFF love to play there. There are playgrounds, fields, an outdoor classroom, a garden the kids tend, a butterfly garden and a compost.

Meet Gigi, who is as fun as she looks — and then some.
Posing "tall and proud" with her favorite princess, Pocahontas, during our recent trip to Disney World.
A popular activity during social isolation has been baking (brownies, cake, you name it).
We spend several weeks each year at the beach — and she loves the water. She's been taking swim lessons since she was six months old.
She's currently obsessed with horses.
We love having easy access to NYC and all it offers. At Christmas, we visited the Bryant Park tree an watched the skaters along with Grammy.
Most of all, we love our town and all the green space, which is great for running and chasing bubbles.
Gigi recently graduated from PK.
Being a fairy is also a popular one.
She loves yoga (favorite pose: mermaid) and meditation.
Gigi literally practices being a big sister. We keep telling her it will happen soon.
Gigi loves dress up and make believe. She has so many costumes, like Rapunzel.
NY is home, but New England is our second one. For all of Suzy's life, she's vacationed on a island there — and the tradition continues. We go with our little family each summer and are joined by up to 30 family members from both our
Summer in New England.
For over 100 years, Chris's family has vacationed on a beautiful lake in upstate NY. We have a whole giant group that goes each year.
A local fave is the Bronx Zoo! We usually go with friends. This photo was from the Boo at the Zoo Halloween event.
We also love going to the Bronx Botanical Garden. This was a summer trip but we love the train show too.
We went to Montana for Chris's sister's wedding.
While there, we visited Yellowstone.
Chris being silly at Yellowstone.
Chris's whole fam was at Yellowstone. One morning, we watched the sunrise together.
We went backcountry camping in Yellowstone and didn't see anyone for 3 days.
