Saturday at home

Devon has gone to work so I’m just relaxing at home with Rocky and Tigra. I’m trying to read a book by one of my favorite authors, however we just got a new dresser so I have to put all my clothes away. Maybe a little more relaxing first! Read more »

Beauty everywhere you go

Where I (Jessica) work, there are a bunch of mosaics in the walkway of the parking lot. I love mosaics and I think this might be my favorite one. Read more »

New places to walk

Devon and I went to a maritime museum and I saw dogs there and decided that Rocky would like it. I took him there and he loved it! There are open fields and a little beach area, as well as docks and some forests. He wasn’t thrilled about the waves but he enjoyed going on the dock for the first time! Read more »

Manhattan skyline

We had a family funeral in New Jersey this past weekend. Devon and I walked to the pier in Jersey City and were able to see the beautiful Manhattan skyline. Birthday during quarantine

Well my birthday was this past week and even though we are supposed to be staying home, I still had a great day. Devon made me a cake, I got to read and crochet and watch whatever I wanted, and stay home and relax the pets. I still had to work (from home) but that’s okay too. We’re blessed to still be able to work Read more »

So it’s the beginning of March and it’s 47 degrees here…there have been numerous times that I’ve going outside with the dog and I didn’t really need a heavy jacket. To be honest, it’s when I’m in my pajamas and I go out with my jacket over my pj’s LOL. I wonder what it will be Read more »

Leaving on a jet plane

Hi it’s Jessica! I’m going to visit my sister and her husband in Virginia. She had a baby in November and I can’t wait to see her again. Since she’s still an infant, I’ll get a taste of what it’s like to be up all night with feedings and if the baby starts crying. Devon and I hope to have a Read more »

Started swimming

Jessica here! I went to our local YMCA and started swimming yesterday. There are so many good programs there for children to learn how to swim so we’re excited to be able to teach our children this very important skill. I haven’t been swimming in a long time which is very strange since we live near so much water, Read more »
