Thank you for reading our story! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you have! #hope

Dear Birthparents,

How do we even begin to say thank you for your consideration!?! Please know that we understand that this decision is not easy for you. We know that so many thoughts and questions have gone through your mind in making this decision. We hope and pray that this information will give you peace and comfort in knowing that by making this selfless decision you are helping to create a miracle for a family. We truly hope you will consider us to be that family!

Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." We have dreamed of so many different things in life. Some of them have come true and some of them have gone in a totally different direction. We have dreamed of having a family since the day we were married. We feel that the Lord has lead us to adoption to help fulfill that dream. We know that somewhere along the way, the minute you found out you were pregnant, your plans changed, too. We pray that you will find peace and comfort as you make this decision. We also want you to know that no matter where this plan leads, that you will forever and always be a huge piece of this child's life and their plans, as you are, first and foremost, their birth family.

Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We pray that we are the right family for you and your child and would be happy to answer any other questions you may have for us!!

Who We Are

Our Story

We grew up about ten minutes from each other. Some of our family tried to set us up several times throughout high school, but neither of us were really interested in dating at the time. However, in college, we ended up running in to each other at a drag race. We started dating after that in August of 2009. We were married three years later on November 10, 2012. In 2015, Jason was diagnosed with cancer. He went through about six months of chemo and has thankfully been cancer free ever since. In 2016, we pursued fertility treatments as we knew that fertility would be an issue after the chemo. At that point in time, we found that Ellen was unable to carry a child. We prayed and prayed and prayed some more and truly felt at that time, that God was calling us to adopt.

What Being a Parent Means to Us

We believe that being a parent means creating a home where a child can play, learn, grow and most of all dream. Where he/she can laugh and cry and feel loved and supported through every step of life. Being a parent is raising a child to be kind, to work hard, and to help others. Teaching him/her about our faith and that with God all things are possible will be a vital role in our lives! We plan to be open and honest with our child about his/her adoption and to share that you loved him/her so much and you just wanted the best for him/her. We also plan to ensure that he/she knows who you are!! We know that being parents is a huge responsibility, but we also know that it would be an answered prayer for us. We are so excited to start this journey and hope and pray that you will choose us to help give this child a home!

Adoption Diary

I grew up with my mom telling my brother, sister and I over and over that there is always, always, always something to be thankful for! Today, on thanksgiving, I hold this memory very close to my heart. We are so blessed with family that we are so close to and for that we are truly thankful! We continue to hope and pray to grow this family through adoption! We pray that you will consider us as you make this tough decision! And mostly, we pray that today especially you know, too, that there is always, always, always something to be thankful for because we are very thankful for you!

Difficult Roads

We don’t know what road lead you here, but we know that together we can find a beautiful adoption plan. Life is hard, but God is good and with that difficult roads can lead to beautiful destinations. We hope your road will lead to us!
