We met in college through mutual friends. We went on our first date only a few days after meeting each other and were married a few years later. During our courtship, we realized we shared many of the same values such as love of family, the desire to make a difference, a commitment to education, and faith in God. Not only are we husband and wife, but we are also best friends who balance each other out. We love how we have the ability to challenge and support one another. We love to travel, hike, try new restaurants, paddle-board, boat, be with friends... anything active!
We always wanted children but were unable to have children biologically. We knew adoption was the right path for building our family. In June of 2015, our precious Ellie came to us through the gift of adoption and we are forever blessed! Ellie is now 4 and loves to draw, paint, dance, swim, be outside, feed and ride horses, and play with her cousins. Not only is Ellie ready to be a big sister, but our nieces and nephews can't wait for a new cousin, too! Our parents are also thrilled to become grandparents gain.
We are surrounded by wonderful family and friends who are just as eager to embrace a baby into their hearts and homes!
Home Sweet Home! We love our neighborhood and surrounding community. On any given day, you will see children outside playing or riding bikes. The streets are lined with beautiful trees and sidewalks. And the neighborhood elementary school is nationally recognized for their commitment to the arts and academics. We feel so lucky to live here! Our city is also full of kid-friendly activities. There is an aquarium, an IMAXX theater, an art museum, a rock climbing gym, a fantastic public library, and our favorite part, a beautiful river that connects all of the attractions to the riverfront. We also live within a short road trip to mountains, lakes, trails and parks. We can't wait to welcome a baby to the place we call home!
Hi! I'm Elliott.
I'm a committed, loyal, and problem solving guy who has absolutely loved being a dad. Rebecca describes me as a kid magnet due to my friendly manner, quick laugh, and encouraging words. I enjoy spending time with my family, being in the woods, and watching the sun rise.
I am the oldest of three children and stay in very close touch with my family, seeing them often. My parents live in our town and love spending time with their grandchildren. I had a special childhood full of fun summers, camps, sports, time with cousins and friends, and ice cream eating! I hope to provide this same kind of childhood to my own children. Giving time and love to others is very important to me -- I will be a mentor, friend, and cheerleader to my family.
Hi! I'm Rebecca. I'm a stay at home mom and love to cook, read, and decorate! I'd describe myself as caring, thoughtful, and encouraging, and have desired to be a mom all my life.
I have two younger siblings who I have very close relationships with today. My parents have been together for over 40 years and provided me with a childhood full of support and unconditional love. I loved summer camps, going to the mountains, family trips and gatherings, weekends at the lake, and church on Sundays. I still love doing all of those things and look forward to continuing these special traditions with my own children!
