Anthony and Tricia met in 2009 at a party that Anthony's family was throwing. They spent the following year seeing each other at different get togethers. In December of 2010, they decided to go out on a date. For their first date they went to the movies and then to Tricia's sister's house to watch a football game. They have been inseparable ever since. In April of 2013 they became engaged and then got married on August 1, 2014. They spent their honeymoon in Marco Island, FL. Their plan is to someday purchase a retirement home there. Tricia and Anthony purchased their first home in May of 2017. It sits on three acres and they can't wait to put a pool and a swing set in the backyard. The house is also very close to a lake where they can go hiking and boating. Tricia and Anthony love to watch movies, travel, watch football and baseball and spend time with family and friends. One of their favorite things to do is to visit with their two nieces and one nephew. Tricia and Anthony have traveled to Bar Harbor Maine, Las Vegas, the Bahamas, Disney World, Ohio, and recently came back from a trip to England and Ireland.
We live in a small town that offers the fun of both country and suburban living. Our house is a 3 bedroom ranch style that sits on 3 acres. We also have friendly neighbors nearby. We have two living rooms in which we spend lots of time as a couple or entertaining friends and family. We enjoy having a space where everyone can come together. Every year we host Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. In the summer we throw a Memorial Day BBQ in our spacious yard. Our favorite part of our town is the lake. We love to go boating and hiking there. Our home is close to shopping, trains, parks and restaurants.
From the moment I met Tricia, I knew she was a wonderful, caring person. Her personality, humor, and determination to achieve her goals is what attracted me the most. Tricia has more experience with children than almost any person, with or without children, that I know. She has been a school teacher for ten years and with that came experience few people obtain in their lives. Her biggest fear while searching for a local teaching position was leaving the children behind in the middle of the school year, which she refused to do so. When I met Tricia, she was already a first-time aunt. She was never afraid to change an infant's dirty diapers, hold them in her arms, attend to them if they cried, play with them for hours on end, and watch over them alone. Before meeting Tricia, I was afraid of being a parent. After being with her for over seven years, she has instilled the confidence and excitement all parents need before becoming parents. I am lucky to have Tricia as my partner in this wonderful journey!
My favorite days are the ones where I get to see Anthony interact with our nieces, nephews and cousins. He is patient and never seems to run out of energy with them. They are his main focus and he becomes a kid with them. Anthony will be a terrific father. He is the most patient and understanding person I know. When he is passionate about a topic, I can listen to him speak about it for hours. The topic doesn't have to be of interest to me, I just enjoy seeing his face light up. Anthony is extremely hard working. He has a full time job, goes to school full time and still finds the time to have fun. But, he always makes sure his family is his main priority. There is no other person on Earth I would want to be the father of my children.
