We are pre-screened as adoptive parents by Lutheran Child & Family Services
We have been pre-screened as adoptive parents by Lutheran Child & Family Services (LCFS). Their comprehensive screening and education process took months to complete and was very thorough. They have screened us and verified that we have completed the following:
• Passed criminal background checks, including child abuse and neglect background checks
• Completed adoptive parent preparation classes
• Attended pre-adoption counseling sessions
• Vetted to be medically, financially and mentally stable
• Passed a comprehensive home visit with an LCFS social worker who assured out home is a safe environment for a baby and meets state regulations.
