Dear birth parent(s), we are Paul and Lisa. Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We are so grateful that you are taking the time to learn about us and be considered as adoptive parents for your child. We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be and know that it has taken a lot of courage, trust, and hope to move forward with your decision. We have been married almost six years and have one rescue fur baby named Paisley. She is going to be an amazing big sister. We are so excited about completing our family through adoption!
Should you choose us as adoptive parents for your child, we hope to share in this wonderful journey together. As parents, your child will always know that they are loved both by you and us. We will provide unconditional love, a stable Christian home that your child always feels safe in, an environment with open communication, a good education, and lots of laughter.
We live in a large family-oriented neighborhood with two community pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and several parks. There are multiple children's activities each month that are organized by our community, including movie nights, a pumpkin patch, and carnival activities. Our home has four bedrooms, Paul's office in which he works from home, a game room, and a media room. We have already started preparing the nursery downstairs. We also have a large backyard with plenty of room for a swing set. We have many schools in our city and have an elementary school and middle school within walking distance of our home.
Paul has always been able to connect with children. He grew up in a large family and can easily relate to others. He is the spiritual leader in the household and provides a vision for our family. Lisa provides balance with her organization skills, structure, and always has a game plan. Together, we are a great team, and looking forward to applying our life lessons to nurture and support your child to give them the best life possible. Between our families, we currently have 12 nieces and nephews (one more on the way), and your child would have many aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins as part of their support.
We are both active, Paul enjoys activities outdoors including mountain biking, hiking, skiing, golfing, and going to the gym. Lisa enjoys going to the gym and going for runs ("jogs") around the local track and neighborhood. We like to travel because there are so many beautiful places around the world. We think it helps us understand other cultures, how people live, but also lets us enjoy time away from daily routines and relax. All road trips include Paisley and some of our favorite destinations have been ones which include beach or lake destinations and since we have been married have traveled to the French Polynesian Islands, Hawaii, Mexico and have been on several road trips. Paul has also traveled to Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Canada. We also enjoy traveling to College Station once each fall for an Aggie football weekend since we are both Aggies.
