About Us
Our Story
We met in 2010 and we have built a fun and wacky life together with two boys, animals, books, adventure, and lots of love.
Life consists of playing games, taking our dogs on adventures, hanging out with family, cooking together, and a good book or movie on the couch. One of our favorite things to do is explore new libraries. Travel is a must and we take little weekend adventures around our area.
We are both college educated, creative, adventurous and absolutely dedicated to our family. We are really excited to be adopting and are so happy that you found us, keep reading to learn more!
Our Home
After years of renovations and construction, we turned an old house into our home. Add some horses, dogs, chickens, a veggie patch, and an apiary and we have our farm. Our home also includes a pond for fishing, access to woods for exploring and walking, and large lawns all around the house. There are crafts, toys, books, puzzles and plenty of squishy chairs and couches to crash on.
We live in an amazing location in upstate NY. Our community is unique in that it is rural, but only a 10 minute drive from a diverse, urban city center. We have the best of both worlds. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a great school district, and are surrounded by local farms. Our favorite spots are an amazing ice cream shop, a record store, children’s museum, and our local libraries.
Nicole
Nicole is genuine, curious and always looking for something new to learn, explore, or discover. Things are never dull around her. She runs our little backyard farm with horses, chickens, honey bees, vegetables and makes maple syrup. She teaches and includes the kids in everything that she does. She loves to get messy with the boys, playing outside and reading lots of books. She has also really gotten into kids shows and watches everything.
Roberto
Roberto is a fun and very kind person. He has a special connection with adoption, since he himself is adopted. He comes from a small, but very devoted family. Roberto is adventurous and open minded to all people and situations. He likes to play every silly game the kids come up with and playing music with them. He owns a small local retail business, but never have I seen him waver in his support and dedication to our family.
