Who We Are
We found each other in 2010 and we have been inseparable ever since. We have built a fun and wacky life together with travel, books, and lots of love. We were married in 2017. We travel all over the world, but our favorite vacation spot is Disney World.
We love being outdoors and recently started mountain biking together, so it is our new thing. We also love getting out on the trails and doing some hiking, but sometimes it's nice to just play catch in the lawn. Our family is also a huge part of our life, so spending time with them is very important and we do a lot of it.
Most evenings you can find us cooking dinner together, binging Netflix, and cuddling with the dogs on the couch. One of our favorite traditions is checking out all the library book sales or used book stores in our area throughout the year – so many books!
We both work from home. Roberto a photographer, has his studio in the old barn that has been converted. Nicole is a small farmer who farms eggs and maple syrup all on our property. We just added honey bees to the farm.
We are both college educated, creative, adventurous and absolutely dedicated to our family. We are really excited to be adopting and are so happy that you found us, keep reading to learn more! Check out our pictures and videos and see us in action.
Nicole comes from a large family, but it has gotten larger recently. All 5 kids are now grown up and married. Bringing in new people through marriage is not always easy for a family. Differing views on politics, life styles, customs, and the like, can make it very hard to keep divides from forming. Nicole’s family appears to be experts at it though. They see a new person coming and they open their door, arms and set a place at the table. The family continues to show love and support in all the endeavors of all family members and are there to help at a moments notice. Those that come in from outside the family are welcomed in and loved deeply. It is the same with an adopted child. All of them are excited and ready. They are all full of love and a child who comes through adoption will be loved and cared for as any biological child could experience.
We are extremely fortunate to be able to have the ability to adopt from anywhere around the United States. With Nicole’s parents and family nearby, they are able to stay at our house and take care of things while we are away for an extended period of time. We both have jobs that we do from home and that can sometimes travel with us. And we have many airports here in NY that will allow us to board planes quickly if the need arrises. All of this put together means that we can travel to where a baby is born quickly and stay in that place together till he/she is discharged from the hospital and the paperwork is completed to bring a baby home. So, everyone here is on standby in case we are chosen as a baby’s family. Hopefully some day soon we will be traveling.
