Kevin and I met while in College, and married a year later. We returned to graduate school. Kevin received his Masters of Business Administration while I pursued my doctorate in developmental psychology.
Ten years ago, we were blessed with our daughter, Ashley. Ashley adores school and reading, and is extremely social. We are very close to our two nephews and niece, as well as our parents.
As a family, we adore going out to eat out, cooking and travel. We travel internationally several times a year as a family. We spend every Christmas in Florida with my dad where we decorate Gingerbread houses and the several Christmas trees he has in his house. We head to see him after spending Christmas early in our home where we have the family tree, as well as Ashley's individual tree.

I am happiest when spending time with my daughter. She brings so much light to my world. I am a very involved parent. I volunteer at her school and help run her Girl Scouts troop.
I have been blessed in that my career allows me time to spend with my family. I have a flexible teaching schedule, and an understanding work environment. My daughter has come to work with me regularly since she was an infant.
My husband and I have grown up together. We met in college, and have been lucky to grow together in our interests and aspirations. Our weekends are focused on family time. An activity my husband has taught me to enjoy is travel. I had not traveled that extensively as a child but Kevin has helped me appreciate the benefits of seeing the world. We have had many wonderful, bonding trips with Ashley and look forward to doing so with a larger family.
