We have been blessed with the greatest village and are hoping for a baby and birth family to add to it!
Dear Expectant Mother,
As I sit hear struggling to find words to write this I realize it is nothing compared to what you are going through right now. So all I can do is say what I know. And that is this. I know that Chris and I have always wanted to adopt. I know that family is our whole world. I know that when we are chosen by an expectant mother she will become part of our family. So we want you to know that as you are making this very difficult decision we are praying for you and your family. You will always have a village supporting you now and forever!
Chris and I where set up on a blind date. I had the upper hand because I had been shown pictures and was told all about Chris. Where as Chris was going in blind. We went on our first date and I left the date thinking it went miserably until he called hours later asking if I wanted to come back and watch the world cup with him that night. We had a blast learning quickly that we both had a love for sports and the outdoors. We have been married 17 years in December.
We enjoy spending time with our kids helping coach and participate in all their various activities. When we are not on a field or court you will often find us at the lake water skiing or camping.
We are very active in our church and in our community. We know everyone that lives in our town and couldn't ask for a better place to raise our kids.
We had a wonderfully warm day outside at our first track meet of the season. I love being outside! Brooklynne did amazing in all four of her events but especially rocked it in discus taking first place! We also got to spend time with grandma and grandpa, aunt Whitney and uncle Robert and uncle Jared and aunt Natilie. Brooklynne had an amazing cheering squad there for her today!!
We are not totally done but here is a sneak peek at Paxton and his “new brother’s” room.
To clarify we have not been matched yet but Paxton comes through the door after school every day and asks us if his brother is home yet. Everyday we say nope not yet. And this sweet boy always says that’s okay mom it will be soon. I just love his sweet spirit and positive out look on life!
