We are excited to bring a child into our fun-loving, adventurous, and supportive family.
Welcome to our adoption page. We are excited to start this journey! We have talked about being parents ever since we met almost nine years ago. We live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and have a dog named Forest. We enjoy traveling, cooking, and being outside with friends. We are excited to start building a family and would like to connect with expectant birth parents. Open adoption is important to us, so we would very much like to get to know the birth parent in advance so that we can establish and maintain a relationship throughout the child's life. We look forward to meeting you!

Who We Are
Our story begins on a lake in northern Minnesota. We met there on a weekend with friends and have been together ever since. There was an immediate connection and we found that we shared so many common goals, interests, and a passion for living life by experiencing the world and what it has to offer.
The greatest goal we share is to have a family and raise children together. We have been blessed with many nieces and nephews from our brothers, sisters, and friends and are so excited to start a family of our own.
One of our favorite weekend activities is baking and cooking. This weekend, we made beef empanadas for a game night at our friends’ house. Dave’s dad and relatives are from Chile, so he was introduced to this food by his grandmother at an early age. This was our first time making empanadas at home, and like much of our cooking, it was a team effort: Rob made the dough and Dave made the filling. We’re happy to say they were a big success.
Most of our cooking experiments included baked deserts. In addition to the empanadas, we’ve recently made whiskey caramel cupcakes (for St. Patrick’s Day), blood orange pie, and Minnesota-themed sugar cookies for Christmas.
Both of our families taught us to cook at an early agem and we’d love to pass these skills and traditions down to our children.
It’s not an April Fool’s joke—Rob started a new job today. He’s still working in the restaurant management and consulting business, but instead of traveling to different stores across the country, he’ll be working in our home state of Minnesota for the foreseeable future. I’m so grateful to him for making this change to better enable us to expand our family. He’s going to be great, and I’m so proud of him for taking this leap into a new opportunity. -Dave
