We met during senior year of college through a mutual friend. After hitting it off from the start, we've been the light of each other's lives for the past 12 years. During this time, we took in a rescue kitty, lived in a number of cities, traveled, explored, married, bought a home and most recently added our puppy to our family.
We are incredibly close with both of our extended families and live about an hour and a half from them! Everyone in our lives including friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and even the mailman, are all so supportive of our decision to adopt.
We feel blessed every single day and want to share our lives and our unconditional love with our children. We can't wait to be the "fun" parents, who coach soccer, take our kids on adventures, ride roller coasters, teach them all about nature and animals, and most importantly, make sure they always know how loved they are.
We bought our home in March 2017. It is new construction and located just outside of the city. We are within walking distance of beautiful parks, great schools, restaurants, museums, and shops. Our home has two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large updated kitchen, plenty of storage, and an abundance of natural light.
A little about our hobbies…
Living in the Northeast, there is so much to do, and we definitely take advantage of all four seasons.
Whether we're at the beach or on the mountain, we love to hike, fish, golf, snowboard, ice skate, go to sporting events and pretty much try anything. We love traveling, exploring and going on adventures together!
Whether we're cooking dinner, going for a walk around our neighborhood, driving in the car, or just lying on the beach, Mitch is always making me laugh. Everything is an adventure and a memory to be made in our lives.
Mitch is not only incredibly fun, he is very smart. He has a career in finance and a passion for currency and investments. He is an animal lover, gentleman, adoring husband, and my everything.
Emily is the most caring, considerate, and loving person I have ever met. She is selfless, generous, and kind.
Ever since the day I met Emily, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Much of that is because of the person she was raised to be. Her morals, values and manners, and the way she treats others reflects the kind of upbringing I want our child to have.
Her gentle spirit and love of the wild is something I have always loved about her. She's also quite the adventurer! Always looking for the next exciting path to take us down and keep me on my toes!
