We've been together for eight years. A lot has happened since we first met -- graduate school, new jobs, our wedding, big moves, and buying our first home. We've been inseparable since our first date. We first said "I love you" over a Scrabble game in the middle of a hurricane. Our dates these days include going to our favorite Middle Eastern restaurant or going for a walk on the beach. We can't wait to have a little one come with us.
We live in a friendly neighborhood down the street from a beautiful park and playground. We are a short walk away from a public library. There is an award-winning elementary school less than a block away, where kids can learn foreign languages. Diversity is at the heart of our community.
Our 3-bedroom house has plenty of room to grow our family. A baby would have their own room, a colorful playroom, and lots of room to run and play outside!
At home we like to cook, watch documentaries, and spend time with friends and family. Sundays we spend time together exploring our city, hiking and relaxing at home.
Gwendolyn is an Early Childhood Therapist who works with children and families in need. She has spent the last 10 years studying what young children need to thrive. Most of her days are spent with children, and she can't wait to be a mom.
Her loving and caring nature makes her a great partner, sister, daughter and granddaughter.
Most days, Gwendolyn can be found reading, painting, trying to make Kyle laugh, and convincing him to go on adventures. She loves spending time with friends, many of whom she thinks of like family.
She grew up working in her family's gardening business and loves to take care of indoor and outdoor plants.
Kyle is a Tax Analyst and overall math whiz. He loves running, exploring new cities, and cooking things up in the kitchen (he's the family chef).
Kyle is kind and dedicated to his family. He puts his family's needs in front of his own and would do anything to support them.
He has always loved spending time with kids -- from spoiling his younger sister to working as a camp counselor to volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club.
Kyle went to the University of Michigan, where he met all of his best friends and developed a passion for sports. Go Blue!
